Quote:Thats what I'm trying to find out. I know Liberty's station was torn down, and I believe all of the other Lebanon city stations are still standing but I didn't know if

the Perseverance's was still up. Or where exactly

on Willow street it use to be.

The old Perseverance Fire Station was torn down for Willow Square high rise.  It was on Willow, just off of Eighth headed toward Ninth Street.

This is the original Barlow station and community hall. The newer station sits to the rear. The first apparatus bay was in the basement behind the bushes. At different times, bays were later added to both sides, the left one now covered over. You can still see part of that concrete ramp. Note the world war 2 era air raid siren peeking over the roof, and still in use. As a historical sidenote, President Eisenhower voted in this building when he lived in the Gettysburg area.

Need help here, can anyone ID this station.  Allegheny County, near North Versailles, on Sylvan Avenue.  Obviously a closed station.

I know it is the social club for North Versailles, but what fire company use to run from it before the consolidation?

South Versailles VFD which consolidated into what was Sunset-Central VFD, and then consolidated further into what is now Fire Department of North Versailles Twp.

I don't believe your information is correct.  I'm pretty sure that there wasn't a South Versailles VFD in North Versailles Township since there's also a South Versailles Township nearby.

As I understand the FD history there, the Sunset and Central VFDs merged to form the Sunset-Central VFD.  I think one or both of these were already a merged department.  Several years later, Sunset-Central VFD (213), Green Valley VFD (214), and Dixon Hollow (210) merged to become the Fire Department of North Versailles (FDNV).

As for the building in question, I believe that the Sunset VFD operated from that building and it is now the Social Hall for FDNV.
