October 19, 2013 - South Middleton Township (Cumberland Co.), PA - Around 0415 hours fire companies were sent to the Bonanza Steakhouse on Walnut Bottom Road just outside the Carlisle Borough line for an automatic fire alarm. First arriving units had nothing showing and upon further investigation discovered a haze of smoke inside. As companies were stretching line and preparing to attack the blaze heavy fire consumed the attic area and broke through the roof. Firefighters were withdrawn from the structure and exterior operations initiated. A second alarm was struck and crews operated for over 2 hours to extinguish the flames.

Overall view. Thanks for looking. If you wish to view all the images from this fire they are posted on my site: http://www.capitalcityfirephotos.com/201...869_ZJkmGc
Not to Monday morning quarterback, but with amount of fire, shouldnt they be using bigger lines? Looks like theyre manning 1.75" handlines. Big Fire, Big Water is what I was taught. Excellent photos by the way....
Great shots.
