Founded in 1803 and the 1st wawa was opened in New Jersey in the late 1970s

Cinnaminson's one station (I can't remember which one right now) was known as Parry Fire Company from their founding up through the 70's.

Cinamminson, NJ used to run a pair of these 1975 Young Bison pumpers. They had 1250 gpm pumps.

This is 74-541, a 1974 Young Bison 1250/500. It was delivered to the Parry FC of Cinniminson, NJ when new and later sold to Provincetown, MA. The Young info I have only shows one Bison delivery to Cinniminson. If anyone has a shot of another, I'd love to see it.

That section of Cinnaminson where this firehouse is located used to be known as the "Parry" section of town. This is station 201, and is now manned by a 4 man crew 24 hours a day and supplemented by volunteers. The other station on the other side of town is station 202 and years ago used to be known as "Delaware Gardens". It is also staffed with a crew of 4, 24 hours a day, and supplemented by volunteers.



And yes, there was another Young in the Parry firehouse, it was a 1978 model. Both were replaced around 1994.



I know this because i grew up less than a mile from this firehouse.

Thanks, Marc. I couldn't remember which station was known as Parry Fire Company back in the day. My buddy is a career FF with Cinnaminson and works at that station.
