And then Truck 72: I like the cornfields and clouds better that the weeping willows!!
Great looking truck, however what would really have set this unit off would have been the Maryland Flag in the grill, I was wondering if anyone out there could Photoshop one? Just a thought! Dan
I got back down to Prince Georges County to get their new Command Unit:
2011 Spartan Metro Star/LDV
It may eventually replace this unit:
1973 International/LDV ex Bladensburg ECU9 and then Allentown Road ECU47

Caught up with this new one the other day in between the clouds and bad weather: New Midway VFD Tanker 9 2012 International 7600/4 Guys 1250/3500
I was wondering when someone was going to get this pic of New Midway's new tanker. that is one huge tanker and I am hoping it can make it over some of the bridges in their run areas and mutual aid like into Carroll County. I was up at their fire Company for their annual Breakfast and peek into the bay doors and seen it but had no camera to use. :-(

A new rehabbed unit showed up yesterday for Howard County's new Glenwood Station.
Its a 1991 E\-One completely redone with a new Typhoon cab and reworked body. 1250/1000/30. Previously served Engine 52, 81, and RE191. Should go in service in a month or two. |
