Tabernacle E282 - This is one of 2 Mack CF/EEI's obtained from Six Forks VFD in Raleigh Which one, I'm not certain. However they were similar if not twins. Here are the numbers: (1) 1985 Mack CF/EEI 1500/1250 Mack # CFC686FC 1605, EEI # 8432

I would have to do some more in-depth research, but I don't think any dept in NC currently runs a Maxim. I know Marion, Balsam Grove, and Maiden ran Maxims, but all of these are long gone from active service.

Rockwell Rural VFD in Rowan County has just signed a contract awarding Pierce the bid for a 2009 Pierce Contender Engine Company with a Velocity Chassis with 20" raised roof, 500 HP ISM engine and 2000 GPM pump. 7 monthes or so I'll have the pictures.
