Your correct Jeff. They are still running the X- Riverdale rig. The old Engine 384 is still MIA. Last I saw of it, it was at Interstate burnt up.

Thanks Pat,

I didn't know E384 was OOS. That now makes sense that the county moved the quint to Chapel Oaks to replace E384.

Did the county move the 2001 Seagrave, E384 from Chapel Oaks to station 41? I thought 841 was still running the white & black 1995 Seagrave ex Riverdale.

Still damn disrespectful that PG didn't at least repaint the engine, or leave it as a dedicated spare at 7. I know (or am told that...) there was lots of beef surrounding what happened, but leaving it in the same color and assigning it not that far away from whenst it came was an intentional shot across the bow, I thought.
I'm down with:

Was going North on the BW Parkway yesterday and caught a glimpse of a PG Engine painted Breast Cancer Awareness pink. Could not catch the Company number. Any help?

46 too? Why are the two newest engines being re-assigned?

From what was posted previously, the new engines are being assigned to the Paramedic Engine Companies.  So, I would presume that these engines were designed for that and their current engines weren't, hence the reason for reassignement.

<p style="margin-left:0px;">To anyone out there who is on Facebook, please consider supporting this page, which is dedicated to a friend's 4 year old son named Hunter (Roanoke, VA), who was recently diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, and dreams of being a Fireman one day. Individuals and Departments from all around the Country have pulled together in support of him and making him part of our unique "family". Hunter's father and myself admin the page, and the outpouring of support he has received from places like Fairfax County, Arlington County and the City of Alexandria's FD has been nothing short of AMAZING. During a 3 day tour from Roanoke to NOVA the events scheduled in support of this wonderful child still bring tears to my eyes, along with his father's. But the reach has been so far beyond Virginia…. which blows all our minds. He, his father and sister are truly wonderful people (Hunter's mother passed away suddenly a few years ago from an acute pulmonary embolism) and every inch of support strengthens him. Thanks for reading, gents.
