At one time, this truck that Maple Ridge B.C. ran was considered the bee's knees and was hot stuff. P - 17 was a 1973 Thibault International truck with 1050 GPM pump, 250 gallon water tank and 90' 3 boom snorkel device built by Highway Trailer Company.

This rig has some significance in that it was the last Ford C built by E\-One.  There is a metal plate on the frame that verifies this claim.

Surprised no one has posted the old Columbus, OH. GMC Engines and Sutphen Towers.  I don't have any photos of them, and I'm not going to use someone elses, just throwing the idea out there. Great thread!

Gaston, IN. Ex-Engine 97 (I believe)

1983 Ford/Boyer 1000gpm/1000gal

Interesting side note, Gaston always puts the year of the truck in the middle of the badge on the door.

Quote:When doing maintenance on the truck does the cab have any trouble clearing the enclosed pump? Looks a little tight.

It doesn't have any trouble clearing the crew cab however it is tight and I wouldn't want my finger in between them!! Big Grin
