Actually I would have thought that the Disney FD would have some really cool color scheme that was some what kid oriented. Red and Lime both seem like plain selections to me.
Quote:Actually I would have thought that the Disney FD would have some really cool color scheme that was some what kid oriented. Red and Lime both seem like plain selections to me. Me thinks that possibly because it is the happiest place, where nothing bad happens, they don't want people to see red fire engines responding to emergencies, so the lime green keeps them a bit "incognito" as fire engines. Probably also has to do with the Reedy Creek Improvement District's policies back in the day and they probably decided on the color scheme, I don't think having them in a cool color scheme was a consideration. Interesting though because their conterparts at Disneyland have red apparatus that is lettered for the Disneyland Fire Dept (now Disneyland Resort FD iirc). Quote:Any idea what the pump controls? Doesn't look like there are any preconnects or fly pipe. I figured it might have a red line booster. Also just in pure fun, one would think the happiest place on earth would have RED fire apparatus or at least at this point returned to RED. Good thing Orlando is Black over Red, we wouldn't want to give travelers from around the world the wrong impression. Just my own fun thoughts. I have always like this machine very unique and useful. Thanks for posting.Foreign nation's have these paint scheme's and other's even worst then this, I like this paint scheme, They have a newer paint scheme also. I believe it go's with the park theme.
This is the best I've ever shot so far , I love it !
