This machine actually ended up for sale in Kansas City, Kansas at Diverse-fleet a used emergency equipment company. When they closed in the late 1990's it was purchased by the Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Association near Boonville, Missouri on I-70. When I photographed it in 1991 the MARS light had been removed from the stanchion and a red Federal Aero Dynic light bar was mounted on the roof. You could still make out the Ladder Co. on the front doors. When I found it again five years ago at MRVSEA someone had mounted a small Federal Mechanical Siren on the stanchion. Thanks for posting Rick

Isn't that a GROVE ladder?

Sorry, I don't remember.  I took that shot about 30 years ago!

Definitely a Grove, this rig may be a real oddball since the emblems on the C cab would indicate a 1963-68 model, the rear cabinetry resembles ALF, so perhaps this was reladdered for some reason?

This rig does not show on a 1988 roster.

That looks like one of the 1968 Ford C-850/Ward LaFrance/Grove 85' Mid-mount aerials that San Antonio had.  Although that sure looks like it could be a 100' Grove aerial.
