4 alarm Clark County NV w/ Las Vegas Fire
#1
Fire started in the former Key Largo Hotel and Casino.  Clark County was assisted by Las Vegas FD.  I saw 5 aerials in operation at one point.

These were shot using my iPhone.  Sorry for the bad quality

The image quality is not bad at all. When I shoot fires, I don't think about quality, only the subject.

If I get a good quality image, fine. But if it's not so good, I'm just happy to have the photo.

When I left to go to the airport yesterday morning around 0900 Clark County still had one Tower in operation doing mop up.

I was staying on Paradise just north of this place. Heard the sirens and really didn't think much of it. About an hour later when I headed out, I came upon the job. There were still a couple of units there at about 0800 when I headed out to the airport as well. News said that Clark County, Las Vegas, and Henderson were all there.

When you took the top picture was that engine laying a line across that fenced in area? I am guess we were there at the same time.

I believe they had just laid in, but can't be sure. I pretty much just stopped by and grabbed a few shots as I had to pick up my son at the airport. We flew out Friday at 0945 and flight was direct to Hartford then on to Baltimore by Southwest. Were you on that flight to Baltimore via Hartford?

The girlfriend and I were in the area of the fire today and I had her drive by. I did not have my good camera with me so we did not stop for pictures. I shot this with my Windows Phone.

I counted at least two engine companies and a rescue unit along with another unit on the scene.
