Look to big to be used as REP's for the big Trucks. Could be Tac Support Units how many are on the line?

Looking at the body's there will be 2 different size trucks. one with only one  compartment in front of rear wheel, and anoter with 2 compartments in front of wheel.  Production #'s  H-5127- 5128 - 5129 - 5130 - 5131 also 2 different rear compartments,  A short Chassis and a longer one'

Thought about this on the drive into work today. How about this:

 

A.) Replacement for the Air Bag truck

B.) Replacement for the Construction Accident Vehicle

Are the air bag trucks the nypd trucks that look the the fdny tsu??

I *think* air bags are carried on the TSU's.

 

This was featured on A&E's "Investigative Reports" where they showed a jumper up and used a large net carried on the TSU, and I *think* they mentioned they carried air bags as well.

 

But I would think a dedicated box type truck would be needed for the larger jumper bags, like the truck featured on "Cops" many years ago.
