It's been reported that Houston Fire has lost 4 brothers today at a 5 alarm motel fire.

Yes, I believe Larry (Ladder 68) was/is from Station 68....they are saying that station lost 2 members...not sure what shift he is on.

When I was checking for updates this morning the number of injured went up to 13 with one Capt. loosing his leg as a result of the fire.

I'm sure I echo everyone's sentiments when I say I sure hope & pray Larry is safe. 

 

My prayers and thoughts are with those members & their families who lost their lives and the firefighters who were injured as I'm sure they will have a long road back to recovery.

Larry is safe, although, it was his shift and crew. The injured Capt. also works at my part time job. Yesterday they took the left leg just above the knee. This morning the Dr.'s decided to take the right leg.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, at Reliant Stadium.

 

BTW Thank God Larry is safe, and I wish a speedy recovery for all of the injured brothers!
