How would you like driving up to a firehouse in 2006 and seeing this! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BananaMan.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='BananaMan' /> Bush Il were still running a 1961 FWD 1000/500 that came from Carterville IL, and a 1964 Ford C/Towers 500/600/40F that cam,e from Breese IL. The Maxim F was just purchased from Energy IL to replace the FWD(imagine that!). It's a 1965 that originally served Vischers Ferry NY.

Goshen CT from 1993 I believe. Their 3 main engine at the time. The first is a Ford LN/Oren from the late 70's, next a 1993 Ford LN/4Guys, and then an early 80's Ford LN/Grumman.

Here's a brand new group shot I took yesterday at work. It's Palm Beach County, FL Fire-Rescue's Station 81 rigs at Palm Beach Int'l Airport. It is a compilation of all of our rigs old and new. The E\-One Titan with the ladder on the roof and the 2-door Freightliner rescue were taken out of service yesterday and replaced by the newer ones.

Thanks Phil. It was quite a task. It was the busiest day I remember at the airport which is normally quite slow. We got interupted 3 times while trying to pose and shoot the trucks.

Howie, I don't think there were any passengers on this jet. I ran an alert last week when this jet took off from our airport and lost an entire engine cowling on take-off. It fell off in several pieces for the entire length of the runway and some of it hasn't been found yet. They made a quick return to PBIA with a fanfare of fire trucks standing by. They landed safely but the wing and fuselage were dented in a couple of spots. The engine has been removed and mechanics have been flown in to repair the thing. It seems like a major project. All's well that ends well I guess.
