here is one that I did not expect to see at the Alberta Fire Chiefs Conference in Red Deer.  Lettered for Rescue #51  it actually served LA County as R-147.  2001 Phenix/Ford F350.  It is now owned/operated by a private business man.

Squad 51 did not have a crewcab. Would have been helpful for the various riders they had. Was cramped with Roy and Johnny with someone between them.

in for service is this used pumper.  Currently operated by a Hutterite Colony in Manitoba, the truck is estimated to be a 1990 Ferrara on a GMC7000 Top Kick chassis.  The pump is a Darley rated at 1000 gpm.   Does anyone know where this truck originated and/or the size of the water tank?  Thank you.

I attended the annual conference of the Manitoba Fire Chiefs in Virden, Manitoba today and photographed several units that were on display in addition to the Fort Garry Fire Trucks units from Binscarth, OCN and CFB-Petawawa already posted.

Rosenbauer represented by Rocky Mountain Phoenix had 2 rigs on display.  The first was this 2011 demo  on an International 7600 chassis.  1250/670  s/n #2916.  I am not sure if this one has a foam tank or not.
