I have previously visited Cypress Creek. They have several new rigs since my last visit, but some were duplicates of those I already have. Here are the different ones.

I tried to get a decent shot last year when it was at Municipal Fire School but it was never in the right spot. Thanks! I had to wait almost two-and-a-half hours to get that one. They were very busy that day. When I got there, their Quantum pumper was behind the station, cab up, radiator hose pouring coolant everywhere. The rescue was in the shop and the quint was headed to some flag ceremony at NASA. The Chief posed the Booster for me, then had to leave, but told me that the rescue would be there shortly. It showed about 30 minutes later, but the shop guys parked it in a bad spot and left before I could ask them to pose it for me. Meanwhile, the guys from the Pierce dealer were working on the pumper and I kept hoping that they would get it fixed before long. It turns out they were unable to repair it without a new hose, which they could not locate locally and had to have shipped from Pierce, so I never did get the pumper. Later on, the Fire Marshall posed the rescue for me, after he had returned to the station near quitting time. The quint arrived about thirty minutes later and the crew posed it for me. Since I really had nowhere else mapped out to go on that side of Houston, I just waited.

Heavy thunderstorms rolled through the area on Thursday night, but Friday showed up with partly cloudy skies. I continued with the area on the northwest side of Houston. First up is Spring, where my niece lives. The Spring FD runs from seven stations. Until recently, each was assigned a rig similar to the one below, but three have now been placed into reserve, replaced by pumpers.
