This & That from Here & There

Cy-Fair has always had some sharp rigs in my opinion.  Are they entirely volunteer?
I agree!

Cy-Fair is a combination FD - Volunteer membership supplemented by career daytime "Duty Crews" in certain stations, who are mostly also Houston FF's.

Quote:Any photos of the rear of this thing???

Do they have Refineries or something in their first due??
Sorry, I didn't shoot the rear.  The hosebed has a cover, so you really can't see anything unless the cover was removed.  Without a water tank, the hosebed floor is only inches above the frame rails.  As I recall, the hose is stacked 5-wide and goes all the way up to the top of the body.  There is no other size hose carried on the rig.

I'm not really sure why they have these rigs, but they sure make great additions to my collection!

Thanks for the feedback!  I kinda figured they were combination as they seem to have a decent size department.

Spring has 3 Pierce pumpers on order. Spring has no Refineries, but they do have a LOT of Commercial & Manufacturing structures in their territory.

My next stop would be Lake Charles, LA.  As I got closer, I could see a large storm system out in the Gulf.....
