Littleton Brush Fire With Helo 6/19/13

This afternoon with near Red Flag conditions Littleton Firefighters responded to a brush fire in Highlands Ranch.  Shortly after arriving the fire became wind driven.  With homes on both sides of the fire a full wildland interface group responded.  Douglas County OEM sent the contracted Rampart Helicopter for bucket drops also.

This bucket only needs 18 inches of water to fill so the pilot was using a pond near the fire... It was sucking up a lot of sediment making the water look so dark.
