It is with an extremely heavy heart, that today, 19 firefighters from the granite mountain hotshots, from the prescott, az fire department died in the line of duty. The hotshot crew was operating at the yarnell hill fire, less than 45 minutes from they're home unit, when thunderstorm downdrafts and extreme fire behavior over ran the position they were in. I knew each and every one of these firefighters personally, and it has rocked, and saddened this entire town. Please pray for the familys, the fire department and the community and everyone involved in this tragic event....

RIP. Just tragic.
Heartbroken.
Rest Easy Brothers, Rest Easy. We will hold them, their families, and departments in our thoughts and prayers.
RIP Brothers, I read where one of them texted a picture to his wife hours before he died.
