It very well could be. I, not really being able to open and doors or find anything on it other than a Geogia license plate just assumed it was from GA. Thanks for the correction; I'll make note of it.
For a little more than two years now this ex-Dunedin FL 1987 Mack/Gator had been sitting in a used truck parts yard alongside I-75 on the south end of Sarasota FL. About six months ago it disappeared for a few weeks and then returned after being converted into a debris hauler with a grappling hook mounted. It is again for sale. The attached photos show it two years ago and yesterday. FLJackphotos.

I'll second that it is probably a former Deptford NJ rig. Deptford has very distinctive lettering on their apparatus that is suspicously similar (read = identical) to the Maxim font that Maxim used on their rigs. If you look at the lettering on the Maxim and on the old Ford posted above, looks the same. Although it occured to me that the old Ford is a 1963 - a little before the 1967. A new paintjob at some time in its life possibly?

Hey Mark, up to about 5-7 years ago that truck was hitting all the parades and musters here in S. Jersey area. At that time, it was really parade ready. Then it dropped off the face of the earth and no one really knew where it went or what happen to it. Joel Bain

I'm showing that Gatlinburg owned a 1971 Maxim model FFC262L100 that was originally delivered to Westerly, RI. This is the right year and right model number for the rig shown. I'm still searching for photos or will try a department website to match the city seal on the door if possible. I love this detective stuff!
This isn't Gatlinburg's Maxim, here's a picture of it in Station 2 that I saved off the old boards. D.J.H. (can't remember their name right now) is the original photographer. Notice how GFD's has a Q in its nose, and has all that decorative stuff on the front, it just doesn't look like the one pictured from Foley, AL.

Before the 1990s Deptford's Companies were all painted DIFFERENT! They had white, cream (tan), red, chorme Yellow, and I forget the rest. The Deptford has carried over to the current rigs in the white, black and gold paint.

You're right there Andrew. I was looking for(and found) my shot of Westerly's Ladder and I realized it wasn't even really close. Westerly's was much more ornate. All I remembered about Gatlinburg, was that they had a Maxim F aerial that was close to that. I also seemed to remember them having an emblem on the door. It was just a wild guess.
While we're on the topic of Gatlinburg's old Maxim aerial, does anyone know where it went to? It's not in Gatlinburg anymore than I know of. Or does anyone have a better photo of it they could post?

It looks like it still is used for parades and such as it has labels on the interior or something telling what year it is and such. I think I saw some other parade kinda information when I looked in the windows too. It still looks really good but has GA plates on it. I'd not seen it there in that spot before so I don't think it's been there more than a couple of months.
Here are a few Crowns rotting away in Louisiana at a used truck dealer. One is an ex-LAFD pumper and the white one is ex-Los Altos, CA. The others are unknown. As with all the other trucks rusting away, this is a sad sight. A couple collectors, including myself, have inquired about a couple to potentially restore, but they want an insane amount of money for the age and condition. If anyone can help figure out the others, I'd appreciate it. I have tried to figure it out without luck, and have not had a chance to visit the actual dealer in person.
While I am here, I shot this Ex Golden Valley, MN Ford/General Safety at a construction site. It looks to be now owned by a landscape company. Any guess as to the tank size, and can you even drive it down the highway, in it's current condition?????
