Quote:Over the last two years, they put into service 4 1500-470-105' Quints, 2 1500-470-75' Quints, two 1500-470-40 Pumpers. There may be new money coming in July 1st for some more apparatus, but as everything else looks, it doesn't look good right now.New specs and bids are going out soon for 2 maybe 3 engines if not more , things seem to moving forward some now

When the man at the door said," Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms", I, naturally assumed it was a delivery!
Thanks BFD1151. It is great to see someone posting Virginia apparatus. I appreciate your efforts.
While I am on here, anyone seen/photographed any of the new Alexandria engines? Jerry
Jerry,
I don't think any of the Alexandria engines have made it in service yet. I've been waiting for my Custom Fire contact to let me know when one does.
I drove by a couple of stations today to see if any of the alexandria engines were in service and they are not in service yet actually I only saw two engines at the shop the ones that we at 209 and the one at 204 were gone.
