Was this rig a refurb? It is interesting that a rig built in 1983 would have manual outriggers instead of hydraulic outriggers.

Agreed, very interesting that they speced manual outriggers. Also interesting the ALF would still construct a machine with manual stabilizers in this time period. Any ideas on the reasoning? I would imagine El Paso must have still had a number of ladder trucks with manual stabilizers so maybe it was a training and consistency choice. Thanks in advance.
