Love that truck too. Did you get my e-mail inquiring about how you installed the axe to the ladder. I was thinking of doing the same, but just want to make sure I do it right.
Keep the pics coming.
( wish I could get my diamondplate to look that shiny. It's so dull. I've tried everything on it and nothing will get all the crud off of it <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> )

Did you e-mail me or Mario? You'd want to ask him about that. I didn't do it. I did find a close-up picture of it, though. An old picture, but a picture nonetheless. It didn't have the ax bracket on the boom when it was in-service.

No, that was last March when a transmission fluid hose went bad. That hose breaking might've actually saved us as we later found out there were some other issues going on with the transmission that could've eventually left us stuck in our tracks. It has a new transmission in it now (well, as new as it'll ever be), so, I think we're ready to go.
Great looking truck! I know you sold your ex-LAFD Crown. Were you just downsizing the fleet or were there issues with it? I think I inquired about it prior to our purchase of F1627.

No issues; just downsizing. It ran like a top ... 80+ MPH on the open road! Not that we knew that from actual experience. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
We have ... Four. Well, three and a parts truck. More than enough to keep two people occupied.

Thanks for the pic of the ladder setup. I think I had sent my e-mail to Mario. I think I can manage it by that picture.
