Greensburg got away from the Q-2's due to high decibel hearing loss.  The air, vent, and salvage trucks are all remounts.  The air truck was originally a C-60 Chevy chassis.  The salvage was originally an Isuzu chassis. and the vent truck was originally a Chevy C-30.

Wow thanks for posting Pat. This was part of a three unit purchase in 1989. There were two Hurricane sedan cab Pumpers (720, 723) and this Hurricane Sedan Cab Quint (750). This EOne replaced Shawnee's 1973 ALF 1000 series 100ft Ladder Quint. The ALF had been plagued with problems since delivery. Shawnee EOne Quint 71 (750, 751) sat for a while few years in KCK off Merriam drive. Quint 71 was replaced during cash for clunkers with federal money. We were told the motor was disabled when sold to the truck lot in KCK as part of the deal. It was a shame since this was a geat machine. It spent the first fourteen years not staffed at Shawnee Headquarters. It would only make fires with volunteer and off duty paid. The last seven it was fully career staffed along with the existing career engine at headquarters. Shawnee ordered an ALF Eagle LTI 110ft Ladder. The contract elapsed with no machine produced so the current Truck 71 03-2010 22706 Pierce Velocity 105ft ladder was purchased. Interesting use for the old Velvac Mirror Mounts. Other interesting note there are no turn table ladder controls. The ladder controls are only at the rear step and pump panel. I should have the job number at home.

The McGinley surprises me, that is, for the most part, a local builder within Indiana making less than a dozen trucks a year as far as I can tell. I suppose the same could be said for Warner too though, which is in Noblesville, IN.

Decatur Township, IN (metro Indy)? Not to my knowledge, they have a huge amount of debt stacked up against them, so I'd really be surprised if they did, but I've yet to see any pictures of it. I will put an e-mail in to Frank Wegloski and see if he knows anything.

Thanks!  Being a 2007 I thought they might be getting out of the rescue business

Yes Decatur Twp, PA. did get out of the rescue business. They also sold the brush unit. They now have a squad-light rescue/brush.
