Here's the fore mentioned Scuba Unit that was purchased a few years ago.

Does it have a crew area in the rear?

I'll go out on a limb here and say no. I don't recall any Hackney bodies with walk-in bodies aside from the command modules they have built into the rear of some rigs, but you could not walk all the way from the rear to the front of the body. Their emergency vehicle design is based on their beverage truck concept. Of course, I was wrong once before; possibly twice. ;-)

It looked like an AC unit on the rear thats why I was wondering.  So does it respond through out the city and the other companys man with divers or do they have there own dive team that responds with the truck?  I know before it was a stepvan.

Upsatefire,  I believe it does have a changing pod in the rear of the unit, and yes it responds citywide. and divers respond to the scene from there respective Companies, at least that's how it used to be. I don't believe the Scuba Uniut has a desgignated Crew that stays with the Unit
