Yeah I guess I just assumed that when they we were going back to Engines and Ladders, they weren't just taking the ladder off of the quints. Big Grin

SO I saw this in Fire Apparatus, I read the story behind it about how the ladder part being damaged.......Is there going to be a new ladder put back on or is it more of a QUAD type of thinking with this truck now and if I recall....its a reseve unit?

Did Hazelwood, dump the total Quint Concept? I remember the few years ago they sold the 55ft Quint and purchased a new 75ft Quint. I seem to remember they also purchased a new 85ft Ladder Tower quint. Thanks in advance, great photos.

Hazelwood no longer runs a Quint out of both of their houses. House 1 located on Lindbergh Blvd, near the site of the former Ford Manuf plant, runs with the new Smeal pumper, 4114. I believe they still have the 75footer. I want to say its an '07ish Smeal.

Also another feature missing on the new pumper is the giant bumper mounted booster reel Hazelwood has on the Quints.
