12/22/2014 Union SC House fire

Alarm came in at 1150hrs for a house on fire at 100 Perrin Ave in the City of Union. O/A crews found two story house fully involved with two others in danger of going. Crews pulled multiple hand lines and also deck gun. City units were asst by Monarch FD, Southside FD, and Union County EMS. EMS did transport two patients. Fire started in the kitchen area.

Nice shots. Look like a handful right off the bat.. Its always hard when a family looses a home so close to Christmas.

There must have been a huge delay in someone reporting it. A fire doesn't reach that stage in 3 or 4 minutes.

All crews did a great job as I can attest too. Victims were pulled out by passerby. They were frying chicken and left it cooking while they went to sit on porch. They felt the heat while on the porch and instead of just leaving they wen back inside to try to put out. Both got burns and smoke inhalation. Thanks for post Union Medic. I was slightly busy commandeering POV to move victims to one of our ambulances
