How about this one?  It served Neel, AL for a short while and was damaged in a collision.  I grabbed this shot while it was at BMFA for repairs.

Andrew,

That Mack squrt looks like the one that is still listed on Brindlee Mtn for sale. Maybe call them and they could give ya more info.

No sir, very much so in service. That photo of the GMC/Conestoga was taken at a fire training school earlier that morning where the truck was sitting awaiting it's assignment. This tanker is assigned to Bakersville's substation and there was nobody around there to move the truck for better photos that evening. But as always, I will be back for better pics of it soon!

We need to set up a  GoFundMe for a bigger light bar lol

It's bad enough fire apparatus has no character anymore, but now with the LED lights, even the warning lights are bland!

Thanks Dave!!  We can confirm this is the truck then!  Too bad it doesn't still look as unique as it once did...

I had the opportunity to shoot the fleet of the South Roane County (TN) Fire Dept. yesterday.  We began the journey at their Station 2 in the Paint Rock community.

This was another one of those "once is not enough" rigs.  I'd shot this rig once in the past at its former home in Alcoa, TN.

We then ventured to Station 4 in the Dry Fork community where we found an old rig from Western NC!  I got into this hobby too late to shoot this truck in service at Fletcher.  It was replaced in the 2005 era, just as I was getting into the sport.  I was pretty happy to finally get a pic of it!

Dave, can you or someone else explain why this 1982 truck has a 1987 Saulsbury body?  or was it just a 1987 Saulsbury refurb of the existing body?  Seems like you or someone has explained it before, but I can't remember the details.

The Tanker from Station 4 was filling in at Station 1 that day.  You'll see that in a little bit.  In between Stations 4 and 5, we had to pass through Meigs County.  The road just happened to pass right by Meigs County Station 5 in the Ten Mile community.  My contact contacted a member and we were in business.

Chassis is an old Mayfield Dairy truck, the body is semi-assembled locally.  The pump, bed and tank were ordered and assembled onto the truck.
