NJMedic - we were only a block apart. I had to bolt for a structure fire/mutual aid in Bernardsville before the parade began.

We had the rig at E\-One getting a new windsheild and if you look close you will see BLUE on the Officer's side light bar... It was a QUICK FIX after some MAJOR HEAT at a Building Fire on Thursday Night... I wanted the melted bar light left for the parade... OVER RULED!

52-103 is a Ford C/ E\-One. I drive it - Just for get the year. Late 80's or early 90's. Raritan is STILL waiting on its Seagrave Tower Ladder (MACK rehab) Sometime in APRIL we are told.

I was on the sidelines this year and down at Main and Division Street... Should have aranged a MEETING for all Fire Pic Members!!! Try for Next Year ? Or a wet down?

Strange seeing a commerical pumper in Somerviile, was there a store to go with this purchase?[/quote]

Engine 2 was bought as a RESERVE Engine... it is also a Cascade Unit. Before this engine the Engine that was being repalaced became the "spare". The LAST rig to fill in was a 1969 Hahn (old 3 Engine). The Cascade was on a 1944 Mack that the FD is restoring. So to carry the Air Unit the engine was a No Trills basic buy... GOON can you confirm? I got this from West End Members.

Privately Owned. Either Laweranceville (Mercer) or Lambertville Co 1 (Hunterdon) both use that paint combo.

100% correct it repalced a 1941 mack that is still out getting referb to serve as our antqiue(sp)....the reserve eng used to be the a companies old rig once they got there new one and was lettered eng 2 ..... but then the new once was bought......not a bad eng if your 5'0" (cab too small for us 6'1" 230lbs guys) try getting a pack on when theres 3 guys all over 6'0" and 225 kinda hard and inadvertenly punch eachother getting your arms through the straps <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
