Brush Fire near Middleburgh NY

My g/f and I decided to go for a drive today, thought ok lets go this way and hey why not I'll bring the camera with me, you never know.......LOL      Well as I was driving through a few towns I noticed  the Vollys were out and was wondering where the fire was.....Well.....Here are a few shots from a fast moving brush fire today near Middleburgh NY. I was told it was started by a burn barrel left unattended. The fire quickly moved up the mountain side and within 2 hrs had reached the peak.  Roads had to be built to get rigs into the harder to reach areas.    Lession here: Always bring the camera!   Note:  I was in a great spot for pics and vid but mr policeman told me I had to leave......IDK why because I was never near the fire zone.  Damn Cops!
