At the HazMat Office(old E10 quarters). Yes the "2" is on there!. Old HazMat 2(International) is the new SOC Wagon at Squad 26.

They reassigned that Beat to Death Intl AGAIN. I think the city has gotten their money out of it 5x over by now.

Not yet, but I guess they will letter it. They stripped all of the hazmat lettering off when I last saw it.

Great shots and nice thread. Which Baltimore City Battalion serves downtown? Also curious which company is first due to Camden Yards. Will be in town for ems today in February and weather permitting would like to visit a few houses in the area. Thanks! Drew

Battalion Chief 6.  Engine 23 first due. Check out Steadman station at Lombard and Eutaw Streets. They're all first due. Engine 2 at Light and Montgomery and Engine 55/Truck 23 at Bush and Russell Streets. That should be most of the first alarm!

Engine410kid, you are correct....it "IS" All-Steer.....I know two guys who were employees of the Capitol Police Haz Mat Team when these 2 rigs were first purchased

Remember, it's their Emergency, not yours !  Arrive Alive !

Skid Unit is X Sharpsburg Md Micro Pumper is the maker. The truck was all white before coming to Boonsboro, all work was done at Adkins Automotive in Loudoun County.


Next, a new Brush in Boonsboro:

Other news coming out if Washington County:

 

Co.2 Williamsport has Engine 23 listed for sale with a Pierce on order for sometime over the summer, They also have a " new " brush truck which is a 2001 Ford F-350 350 GPM  / 230 GWTX Washington County roads truck with a skid unit off of old brush 6 the GMC Flatbed

 

Co.4 Clear Spring has a new Engine and Tanker on order from Pierce the Engine will replace the CF and the tanker the R model Mack. Engine will be on a Arrow XT Chassis and the tanker will be on a Mack Granite Chassis.

 

Co.5 Hancock placed a X Pierce Demo in service as Engine 52 replacing the Seagrave. Its a 2014 Pierce Saber unk GPM / unk GWT

 

Co.6 Boonsboro has a new Mack Granite / Pierce tanker in the new colors along with Rescue Engine 61 getting some new color

 

Co.8 Rumor has Engine 8-1 being sent back to the main station to run as Engine 6-2 and used to run the medical and other nuisance calls

 

Co.11 Potomac Valley Engine 11-4 is O.O.S and for sale they have also added a X Parks Department truck to use as a support unit a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500

 

Co.19 Sharpsburg EMS new 2015 Ford F-450 PL Custom currently under construction and nearing completion

 

Co.27 Long Meadow has a " new " Engine which is X Blue Ridge Summit, PA a 1997 KME Excel 1500 GPM / 1000 GWT

 

Co.35 Hagerstown Regional Airport has 2 new crash trucks 1 being a X BWI unit and a New 2014 E\-One Titan Force P701 6X6 1500 GPM / 1585 GWT / 205 Foam

 

Co.49 Clear Spring EMS new 2015 Ford F-450 PL Custom Type 1 on order

 

Hagerstown City has placed an order with Pierce for a 2015 Pierce Arrow XT Tractor Drawn Aerial 0 GPM / 0 GWT / 100 Ft to be housed at Pioneer Hook and Ladder and ran a Truck 1

 

Hagerstown City also purchased a used 1994 Simon LTI TDA X Rutherford NJ to run as Reserve Truck 11 it is housed at Co.3 Independent Hose Company

 

Lots of new stuff to shoot in the county next time your up this way
