Member's of the San Gabriel Fire Dept are in Wisconsin doing the final inspection on there new Pierce Quantum pumper, If all goes well they should start the trek home this coming Friday.

Monrovia Squad 101. The old Squad was mounted on a Ford cab which was totaled in an accident. KME remounted the box onto a dodge cab.

Ok! Folks, I have started a slow and daunting task of digitizing my prints.  Some go back as far as the early '80s.  If there is no info with the picture, that means I have no info for it.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  This is going to be a slow going project, that covers this thread, as well as the LACoFD and LAFD threads. 

 

First up is some vintage Vernon FD rigs.

 

Vernon is a 4 House Department SE of Downtown LA.  The city's motto is "Exclusively Industrial", as they have just a handful of full time residents.
