Not sure, but I will try to find out. I was very surprised when I saw the pics on the dealer's site.

 

Edited to add: Perhaps the switch to Dodge simply allows them to retain the Cummins engine at a lower overall cost compared to the medium-duty trucks?

I just seen this last night up at a Frederick County, Md. Fire Company carnival which was Rocky Ridge. the stand bye Ambulance that came was Walkersville Rescue Co St.24

It is their new Ambulance 248 which is a Road Rescue International Type 1 monster of ambulance. Per the officer their the cost was around $350,000 for this ambulance

The manufacturer is Road Rescue, not Road Warrior.

Not sure if it applies here at all, but I've seen a Lion where it was a play on "Life Line", but instead "Life Lion"
