Spare Engine 3 was a 1975 Hendrickson/Pierce 1500/500/50 foot. This was the best photo I could get due to tight quarters.
Engine 5 was running this 1987 Spartan/Saulsbury 2000/500/55 foot
Also at station 5 was Spare Engine 8, a 1976 Hendrickson/Pierce 1500/500/50 foot, Another of the dreaded indoor shots.
Station 5 also housed the fuel truck, a 1973 International 1000 gallon fuel tanker.
Mini 6 was this 1986 International/Sanford 250/500. Again, apologies for the quality of the photo.
Back in the day I was happy to just get a photo of a rig. If I could get it posed properly great, but I didn't want to bother the crews too much. When I look back at how much I have improved, I wish I had of taken the extra minutes to get the trucks posed properly in the sun!
Running out of Station 6 was Truck 1, a 1987 Sutphen 1000/0/100 foot that we cought on an alarm call.
We caught Spare Engine 7 filling in for a rig, and here it was at a working structure fire. A 1975 Hendrickson/Pierce1500/500/50 foot.
We started out at station 8, and I remember that they got called out, turned out to be a working structure fire. Some of the Station 8 rigs we caught at the station and the rest at the fire.
Mini 8 was this 1985 International/Sanford 250/500, shot at the fire.
So I had to settle with this shot of Spare Truck 8, as the other rigs were already gone and the truck crew were getting ready to leave for the fire. This rig was a 1976 Sutphen 1000/0/100 foot
