I looked through this thread and did not see this station posted so here it is. I was surprised that this was a City Station, but I guess I shouldn't be.

Quote:Rick, the stations are set up w/ the single bay being the "resuce" (ambulance) and the fire co's are in the double bays. I did not shoot station 1 as its an afternoon shot w/ the sun and I was there in the morning.

As for the numbers, LV had 1-10 at one time and use Engine 10 as a 2nd engine at 1. Then Station 10 opened up in LV so they went to a 200 series for a 2nd piece such as Eng. 201 as 2nd engine out of station 1. Engine 203 2nd at station 3 etc. Station 1 even uses Resuce 301. Clark County(11-18, and 60's and 80's), North Las Vegas (50's) and Henderson (90's) all pick up w/ the number series. I think you can see a station list on the Clark County Fire website.

I may have some errors in my reporting here, but i'm close.
You are very close on Clark County, they also have 19-29, 31-34, and 38. The City of Las Vegas has also expanded into the 100's for new stations. Station 106 opened 2012, 107 in 2013, and 108 in 2014. I am on vacation starting tomorrow and I plan on going out and getting some pictures of these two new stations.

On August 27th of this year the City of Las Vegas Fire Department opened a new fire station on East Bonanza between Lamb and Nellis.

It houses Engine 108 and Rescue 108

The Clark County Fire Department had a open house today at Station 31 and I was talking with a Firefighter and the Engineer from Truck 16 at the open house and Station 16 on Nellis between Charleston and Stewart is going to be closing in the next couple of months and moving to a new location on Washington near Mt. Hood. When they close the old Station Rescue 16 will cease to operate and the Members will be moving to Station 32 the rig that Rescue 16 has will become Rescue 232.

The company that built the new station will be responsible for tearing down the old station and the plan is that is four to six years build a new station on the Site of of old Station 16. If they build it it will be Station 61 according to the information that was passed on to me.

First up is the old Station 16

Quote:So do they have separate sleeping quarters? If so is this done so the EMS calls all night long won't 'wake up' the entire station?
One of the City of Las Vegas Stations, not Station 1, runs over 10k calls a year and the Rescue unit runs over 6k calls a years.

Thanks Dave I am working on adding some more to my thread on Apparatus. I was a little lucky today and was able to get both some pictures and a video of one of the new Las Vegas Rescue Units. I was able to get it at Station 107

There is not currently an E-7.  City bought a Quint for T-7 and the Engine went to 107 when it opened.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue has an app (At least for Iphone) that has what appears to be very complete and updated Station list and equipment roster.  Just search Las Vegas Fire & Rescue in the app store.  No idea if available for Android.
