I also reshot a couple of Rockmart's older rigs as these are better shots than the ones I had.
Former Engine 1, Rockmart, GA (now the training engine) 1982 Ford C-8000/F.M.C. Roughneck 1000/750 #8763
Back in December, I posted a shot of Engine 2 from Paulding County, GA. That rig was reassigned to Engine 8, replaced by this 2015 version.

This was my primary target in Paulding County. This former demo was purchased by the County in 2014, in advance of a large expansion of their airport. This rig supposedly appeared in a recent movie.

Quote:A Global Striker from 2010 ?That was the date on the tag in the cab. I was as surprised as you! Edit: According to Wikipedia, the Global Striker prototype was introduced at the F.D.I.C. in 2010.
Added a couple more today. This rig was at the FRI show when I was at Woodstock last week. Today, I went to the local Pierce dealer (Ten-8) and was able to get this shot.

My primary target was one of the new engines for Clayton County, GA. This order includes another engine, two mini-pumpers and an air/light unit. It also introduces a new paint scheme for the department. Previous apparatus have been white with gold stripes.

Saw it at FRI. As stated on that thread looks really good in person. Thanks for sharing
Quote:Saw it at FRI. As stated on that thread looks really good in person. Thanks for sharingI also saw Engine 7's mini-pumper (Ford F-550 4 door chassis) at Ten-8, looking equally good. The other mini (E-8) and the ALU will arrive in a few weeks. I would have shot E-7, but they were mounting equipment on it at the time. Guess I can wait a week or so...... I have not heard anything about them repainting other apparatus in the fleet, but their Arrow XT TDA would look awesome in this paint scheme! As of now Virginia only has 1 Enforcer being built that I know of.

What's the specs? Quote:The new Enforcer looks much better than the old. See, while I like the look of the new Enforcer, I think the exact opposite of you, just something about the last style that gets me, I love them! In a world where you're not allowed to have an opinion on social media anymore, without someone freaking out, I enjoy still coming here and being able to do so. Trav!
