I recently had the opportunity to shoot The Lake Shore VFD in my home county.

1st up is there rather different looking Spartan Pumper

This unit is a "Tahoe" not Suburban

General Motors dropped the Suburban name for the Chevrolet version...its the Tahoe XL or something similar.  They are trying to differentiate the GMC and Chevrolet brands - but if they look exactly the same I don't understand the point myself!

It's the other way around. The Chevy model is still the Suburban. Years ago so was the GMC version, but it's now known as the Yukon XL. They also moved GMC upmarket, which is probably why they changed the name.
