I have also seen this listed as 2013.  It was purchased with Federal grant money replacing a 32 year old truck that was removed from service in 2013.

King County is an International Terrastar, and appears to be a Braun NW

 

I think this has been discussed before, by why do so many different counties have MEDIC ONE on the sides of the trucks?

When ALS EMS was started in Seattle back in the 60s, the system was known as Medic One. It stuck as a name in King County and other areas in the Puget Sound region. See post #1433 and on in this thread for a more detailed explanation of how it all works.

Former Engine 17 (965410) has returned from the Seattle Fire Department shops as Hose 34, with a new paint job, equipped with dual 250 gallon tanks for water and foam, additional hard suction trays and a new foam delivery system, carrying 4,400 feet of LDH.

Reserve engine 221 of King County Fire Distict 20 appeared at the LODD Memorial Service for Redmond WA, Fire Department Captain Jim Swift, this past September.  Jim volunteered at Skyway's KCFD station for many years.
