Last, and not in service yet, is tanker 616. This is a 1989 International Paystar 5000 from Alexis with a 500 gpm pump and a 2000 gallon tank. The crew knew it came from Hawaii, and thought it was last used at Hickman Airfield.
616 is getting body work down now and will be painted at Walcott, IA in the next few months.

Love to see this when it gets it's face lift.

Back on December 19, 2015, a funeral for a Mechanicsville, IA firefighter was held, and many area departments turned out. About 15 trucks paraded from Cedar Rapids to Mechanicsville on a cold and blustery day. During the funeral, all the trucks were parked in front of the station, and I managed a few photos.

Waukee, IA is on the west side of Des Moines, but actually located in Dallas County. Waukee recently changed from being dispatched by Dallas County to Westcom, who dispatches most of the western Des Moines suburbs. All of the Waukee rigs have had their numbers removed, and may be renumbered at some point.
Engine 910, its old number, is a 2013 E One Typhoon with a 1500 gpm pump and a 780 gallon tank.
