Hi guys, just got the camera back out yesterday to take some shots of our apparatus. I'm also experimenting with Adobe Lightroom. I'm trying to limit the size of the photo to 200k so I can post it here, but the software is telling me it's unable to do it with photos from yesterday. I've resized this image to 1000 x 1000. Does anyone think it should be a different height and width for optimum view? Any help is greatly appreciated.

We had a 1989 Pierce Lance which came from upstate New York. If you start at the beginning of this thread, it's post #13. It ended up at an oil refinery in Bayonne, NJ as their Haz-Mat/rescue rig.

I recently saw a photo of RIT 64 for Lancaster City. Is this something new that they are trying?

They've had that unit for probably close to two years now. It's quartered with Engine 2 at Prospect and Fremont Streets. It carries much of their RIT equipment and accountability information for greater alarm fires.
Right now it only runs in the city when a second alarm is struck. An off-duty crew has to come from home to staff it and get it to the scene. I've been told that eventually they'd like to be able to take it out of town on RIT assignments. But, I'm not sure how they would do that since it would almost have to be cross-staffed by the crew from Engine 2.
Notice the rear of the body is higher than the rest of it. This is because they have some extremely sharp inclines in the southern portion of their district. This is also the reason they went with no extension on the front bumper.
