East TN chapter SPAAMFAA
#1
This past weekend fellow buff Andrew2340 and I made the trip to Bristol,TN for the first meeting of the newly formed East TN chapter of SPAAMFAA. The meeting was hosted at Joe Gregory's investment business, which was the former Post Office for Bristol (built in 1899, completed in 1901 & on the National Register of Historic Places). Mr. Gregory is very well off financially and started collecting antique fire trucks around 2001. He now has around 45 trucks between his 2 warehouses in Bristol TN/VA and another at his second home in Montana. Here are the rigs he keeps in TN.

1954 Chevrolet 6400/Allegheny

Unknown where this truck originally served

I have no information on this one other than it is a 1949 Ahrens Fox. There were no data or serial plates anywhere.
