My company has taken delivery of our new ladder company. Based off the new Metro design, we added a 2000gpm pump and 450 gallons of water. 100' main.

First- nice looking rig.

Can I ask why you chose the metro ladder versus the regular ones?

The true metro design fits in our station without any modifications. Total height on the new ladder is 10 foot 10 inches. Due to our ramp, the inside of our station needed to be raised

Are those MARS 888 flashers on the pods on the front?

Here is the picture of the ladder it replaced. It was a 1991 E\-One Hurricane/Hush. In-service from 1992-2015. On a side note, the siren, a 1950's Federal Model 77 will be installed on the new ladder once the gold leaf is completed. The siren came off our first ladder, a 1953 Maxim mid-mount.

Looks really nice, I really like how you guys keep the new apparatus connected to the past with the triple "8's" and siren.
