The truck Action has is a box, the infamous 107. It is unusual becuase it has a single rear door opposed to doubles. I wish I had a pic but I don't.

Didn't a lot of the box ambulances in the Seattle area at one time also have a single door on the back? I know I saw pitures of a rig like that somewhere, and I'm almost sure it was from the Seattle area.

I was in Seattle 10 years ago and the SFD ambulances did not have side doors back then and from looking at the SFD website that tradition continues.

if you guys are talking about the hatchback type rear doors it was crestline coach from saskatoon. they made a large number of them for the ontario ministry of health, it was a great concept but just never took off. i personally worked in them and the only think i didn't like was the large rear window that let nosey people look in.

The ambulance I saw was a side hinged side swing door.

The company I used to work for had one, made by Medico. Probably the worst design for a rear door I have ever seen.
