Derby 3rd alarm 22 Caroline St
12/04/16 Derby, CT - Firefighters from were alerted to a reported vacant building on fire just after five a.m. The first arriving companies found a four story, mill building heavily involved. A second and third alarm was transmitted bringing firefighters from the valley area in on mutual aid. Firefighters put multiple master streams into operation along with four trucks to quickly darken down the blaze. The cause of the fire is suspicious since the building is slated for demolition.

This was a four story mill building 100x50.  The building was heavily involved upon arrival. The members were able to get big water fast and darken down the fire during the 15 min response time I had.

Four ladders were able to go to work on the fire and really put a damper on the fire.
