That's it for now, I'll post a few police vehicles over in "Other Emergency Vehicles"
After a 2 month delay, Reading finally recieved this 2006 GMC/Horton ambulance. Id say its for Paramedic 1 (as they are known on the air) but the rig says "rescue" on the doors and "R1" on the back. However it also says "P74" on the back, as from what I understand, is Readings medic assignment from the state. I guess the rescue thing is just for tradition purposes as the ambulance in Reading has always said "rescue" on the doors. Rides like a dream. Riding in the back is so smooth that you wouldnt think you were in the back of an ambulance.
Here is a truck that i dont think i have ever seen a picture of in its current form, Medfords Brush Truck.
I beileve this is the same unit that Mr. Burke has a picture of on firegroundphotos.net as Medfords old Service Truck.
They had two of them. One was a fire prevention vehicle that they would put the skid pump on during brush season. Since they've added a bunch of cars to the fleet, they probably dedicated this rig for brush
A rare shot for me: Chelsea Engine 4, a 1988 Pierce Dash formerly serving as Engine 3.
Today it was in service for Engine 2 who was in the shops for maintnence.
