I'm pretty sure it's new based on the newer style LED lights on the body.  The older Pierce's have the older style "9x7" lights on the body.

Any idea what the department plans to do with the remaining Rosenbauer engines?

They will stay in service front line at their current assignments.

The North Las Vegas Fire Department of Clark County used to run this 2002 Pierce Quantum 1500/750 Engine from station 51.

Henderson Fire of Clark County runs this 2005 Pierce Quantum 1250/500/30a Engine from station 95.

Henderson Fire also runs this 2009 Braun/North Star Medic Unit from station 97.

Close enough!! Was there an old American LaFrance Engine around also?? It was donated to Rachel by a private citizen a while back and there was talk about putting it into service.

Henderson Fire Engine 97 used to run this 1999 Pierce Quantum 1250/500/25a Engine.

Same Engine now in service with Pahrump Valley Fire Rescue Service of Nye County. Fire Trucks Unlimited refurb.

From what I was told by members of the department, They were not very happy with the four Rosenbauer Engines that are currently in service. Mechanical and electrical issues has them out of service frequently.The new Pierce will be assigned to the new station 91 that should be completed and in service in early in 2017. I'm glad to see they went back to Pierce. 

In Rosenbauers defense I saw a video on those pumpers they made for them and the way they were spec'd

 

they seemed very  complicated to be engineered even for a rescue engine. I like the new ones much better
