During WWII, Ahrens Fox refurbished this ex-Spencerport,NY 1931 ModelV 500 GPM for Cumberland,MD. It served about 20 years, as shown, and then was placed at the local municipal park, with the following results...

Here is Peabody's (the duct tape isn't fooling me!) former Ladder 2, it's a 1970 75 ft. Mack CF/Aerialscope. It is now owned by Lynnfield and is being used for parts.



I've heard two different things...I've heard this is former FDNY, although it doesn't look it to me. And I've also heard it is from Federal Way, WA. Does anyone here know it's true origin?

Also with Ladder 2 was Peabody Engine 2, which served as E-5 and E-1 in the past. It may have served other companies as well, but I'm not 100% sure.



I believe it's a 1986 Mack CF/Pierce 1250/500.

Peabody's scope came from Federal Way, Washington. it is the second Baker scope built.

This is former LAFD Crown F1260. It served as E80 and E77. She presently doesn't run and is in Clovis, CA [near Fresno]. A little worse for wear, but it actually looks like she is pretty much intact.

Such a shame that they're going to part out Peabody's old rig. Looks like it's not in that bad of condition and could be used somewhere else.

A couple more ex-LA County Crowns sitting around waiting to go to Mexico or collectors. Serial numbers unknown, but they are most likely from the 1974 or 76 group of Crowns.

I didn't get a picture of it, but an old C model Mack generator truck belonging to the East Farmingdale Fire Company here on Long Island, then given to the Babylon Town Highway Dept. is sitting in a scrapyard wating to get scrapped. It was painted TOB blue, and obviously was disposed of as surplus.



I'm sure our Mack God Mike M. has the info on it. Looks like its gonna be shredded on Monday. Anyone live close by, maybe the guy will have a heart and sell it to ya. But its on the trucks equivalent of "Death Row" where it sits. So get there fast. Good Luck.

I found this one behind the Rite-Aid in Naples, ME last week. All I can really tell is that it's an old Cinci cab converted to a crane.



Apologies for the over-the-fence, through-the-trees shot. It was the best I could do.

That Johnsonville NY Rescue truck has been sitting in that spot for a bunch of years now. It is also Ex-Copake NY.

West Hartford CT, 1970s Pirsch. This was one fine looking rig when it was new, had alot of extras. They had a midmount ladder truck that matched it.
