Essex, as a county, is very large, much of its apparatus is varied.

I live on the border of east London and Essex, and here are a few vehicles close to me.

Bulk foam carrier.

The bulk foam pod is removable, and other pods are available, like portable toilet block, generators, large pumps, earth moving equipment, (bob cats) etc.

Sorry, but yes you are wrong. LOL.

The ones you refer to, are large diameter hoses, for large volumes of water, for oil refinery fires.

Most of the pumpers, are for domestic fires, and fire hydrants are aplenty.

There are other vehicles, possibly a pod, that will have more hose for the pumpers if needed.
