I'm sure it's been asked on here a million times before but what is the staffing of the apparatus for a Light Force.

 

Can be either 5 or 6 between the truck and the engine.

According to the document above, there are 19 6 member LF and 22 5 member LF.

Let's see ... LAFD is on conventional 800 MHz.  LA County is on UHF and VHF (for tactical and fire ops).  A lot of the surrounding communities are on VHF or on a UHF trunked system.  The forest is on VHF.  Statewide fire ops (CALFIRE) are on VHF.  That makes for a lot of radios for interop purposes

Engineer operates and drives the Engine Co, While an A/O operates and drives the Ladder truck.
