1-7-18 House Fire Taneytown,Maryland

On Sunday units from Taneytown and surrounding area were alerted for a possible bathroom fire across the street from the station .I arrived about 45 minutes into the incident. Fire went to two alarms and had 2 ladder pipes and numerous handlines working.

Call came in as a bathroom but most of the fire was in the attic. Also there was an investigation in one half of the house about an hour earlier which I believe was someone "Sweating pipes" after a long cold spell.

Yes it came from a department in Pa and was completely refurbed   by Lady and Taylor a bunch of years ago.Still a beauty!

Yeah I missed it as well Terry, I was down in Leesburg eating at Red, White & Blue when the calls went out. I would of been on the Union Bridge units.
