That's different!  What's the poop with the baby tires and that big vented compartment on the side?

The Spartan GT-One chassis was a fire service adaptation of Spartan's motor home chassis. That tire size is typical for the chassis. The engine is located just aft of the rear axle, with ventilation through that side grille. The pump is mounted at the rear with the control panel in the officer's side rear compartment. They were not real popular and only produced for a few years in the middle 1990's. This was the sixth one I have photographed.
